In the latest clip, Jose Canseco broke down his first two World Series appearances with the Oakland A's. Despite winning the American League MVP during the 1988 season, Canseco and the A's came up short against the Los Angeles Dodgers. While he felt the A's were the better team, he pointed out that the teams that win are the teams that play the best during a short series.
Transitioning to the following season, Canseco said the acquisition of Rickey Henderson was a major addition to the A's and helped them return to the World Series and win. Canseco also reflected on the legacy of the A's squad as one of the most exciting in Major League Baseball's history before stating the team should have won more championships during their run.

Who all left after 1989 because the Reds killed A's in 1990 WS 4-0. I dont remember Dodgers beating A's in 1988, I DO remember the WS and earthquake in 1989 and I dont remember Reds sweeping A's in 1990.

To really think about...In 88 the NY Mets had the best team...they had more talent than the 86 team. They beat the Dodgers 8 out of 8 in the regular season. The Dodgers definitely pulled through in the clutch and Hershiser was amazing!

Idc that he took roids. Still my favorite player and hitter of all time. He made the game come alive and was a monster hitter. They had been cheating and still cheat. Who cares? If you watch athletes to carry your hopes for life or they mean so much to you that something like that hurt you, you're on the wrong shit in this life. Meant to entertain not lead. Thats our problem here. We make athletes gods, we make porn stars our wives, we make celebrity's our moral compass leaders, we let our civil servants run our lives. We spend more time and energy trying to disprove God instead of focusing on the great principles of life it teaches 2100 years later. The positive knowledge in the book. Who cares it was written by man? Shit still right and the most important guide to living a positive life ever. This country is fucked and its not by accident.

I was in Hayward playing baseball about to head into the house when the quake hit. It sounded like a bunch of big rigs coming from differrnt angles. Suddenly the started moving like little waves and housed moving from side to side. When people asked me about it i would always say the quake lasted 50 seconds. I later read somewhere it only lasted 10 seconds.

I can't find his Pro's vs Joe's episode. But Canseco hit 75 straight homers. I have no clue why it's not anywhere. I remember him squeezing the bat and telling the other Pro's..."you hear the ball coming off the bat of these Joe's?...wait till you hear mine"

Yes sir!! I was in my first year of little League in 89 in a little hick town in Tennessee on the Alabama State line and our coach promised us if we had a winning season he'd take us to Huntsville AL to see the A's play an exhibition game against the Huntsville Stars. They were the A's farm team back then. Well we all wasn't gonna miss it for sure but acted like we didnt care because pretty much everyone I knew was Braves fans. But now that's one of the best memories of my childhood getting to see him and Ricky and McGuire do what I studied every waking moment

I was in Kindergarten in 89...I’m watching the battle of the bay as a 5 year old while my mom is napping on the couch...our apartment starts shaking...she kicks me softly and said “stop shaking the couch” I said “I’m not” then the whole building started quaking everything was falling off the walls...my mom grabbed me and we hunkered down under the framing of the hallway...shit was crazy the parking lot had a huge split in it...half the water from the swimming was sloshed out part of the Bay Bridge collapsed our Neighbors Father was trapped on the other side of the bridge...I was only 5 but I’ll never forget
