I remember when I was in the street life, that's another world ya'll, it's called a subculture in sociology. Mainstream religion has more to do with social order than true spiritual experience, but the spiritual experience you get in an environment that's not apart of this system is deep. You see, God isn't an American, Mexican, African etc. He's bigger and he doesn't operate by these countries standards or cultures. For example, Americans say babies are innocent, however the bible says we all are born in iniquity. When you connect with God outside of the culture of a nation you understand God's views on these matters in a deeper way. I see my need for a new nature. Most people don't, paul, from the bible, saw his need to be delivered from this body of death. I like listening to people like this brother because you'll hear something no one else is saying.

The difference between Jesus and every other religion is works vs grace. We can’t work for salvation because it’s a gift. But even though a gift is free you still have to take it and accept it..The last thing Jesus said on that cross was “it is finished” .. he’s the author and finisher of our faith.. that don’t mean you do what u want and give up. God knows if you’re trying your best but what’s important is to put your faith in Jesus and not on yourself. DMX knew that. Was he perfect? No. But neither am I, or you reading this.. but Jesus was! He never sinned! God treated Jesus like he was us(a sinner) so he could treat us like we’re Jesus(perfect).
